Special guest and topic: Gunnedah Shire Council with information for employers on the benefits of employment with Gunnedah's Sister City of Kolomotu'a in the Kingdom of Tonga. This will outline the next steps for the employment expo in Kolomotu'a and those interested in joining the Gunnedah delegation for planned for October 7, 2023.

"A Gunnedah Shire delegation to Tonga in October will hold an employment expo that will be targeted at creating realistic empolyment outcomes for both Tongan people and Gunnedah employers. To this end, we are inviting employers with a genuine need and intent to employ people from Kolomotu'a to join us for this expo.

This information evening in conjunction with Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce will give businesses a very clear idea of what the delegation will involve, including potential costs, timing and opportunities" Gunnedah Major Jamie Chaffey.
