2024 Gala Business Awards

We are thrilled to invite you to our 2024 Gala Business Awards Event, a spectacular evening to celebrate the remarkable achievements within Gunnedah and its surrounds. This black-tie affair promises to be a night of networking, recognition, and celebration of our vibrant business community.

Evening Highlights:

Business Awards: This year, we will present the prestigious New England North West Business Awards in six categories. These awards honour the ingenuity, resilience, and commitment exhibited by businesses throughout NSW.

• Outstanding Young Business Leader: Recognises an inspirational business leader aged 35 or under who has demonstrated a commitment to their workplace, industry, and the community through leadership.
• Excellence in Micro Business: Recognises businesses with fewer than 5 employees that have driven growth and demonstrated resilience and business excellence over the past 12 months. 
• Excellence in Small Business: Recognises a business with 5 to 20 employees that has effectively driven growth and demonstrated specific strategies for business success and/or resilience over the past 12 months.
• Excellence in Large Business: Recognises a business with 21 or more employees that has effectively driven growth and demonstrated specific strategies for business success and/or resilience over the past 12 months.
• Outstanding New Business: Recognises a start-up business that has effectively driven growth and demonstrated potential for future success. 
• Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion: Recognises businesses that address the needs of a diverse community, including seniors, people from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds, and people with disabilities. 

Networking: The evening provides a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders, colleagues, and stakeholders, fostering relationships that drive our community's success.

Guest Entertainment: Enjoy high-impact entertainment with performances by Gunnedah Conservatorium and Bakers Boy Band. The event will be hosted by Gunnedah Chamber President Ben Hennessy and Vice President CJ Baldry, ensuring an engaging and memorable night.

Culinary Experience: Savor a delectable 2-course dining experience curated by local caterers The Verdict  and indulge in a delightful dessert spread by Reverence Sourdough.

Photography & Social Media: The night will be captured by Taylah Maree, our proud Gold Sponsor and photography partner and shared live across our social media thanks to our social media expert. Be sure to smile for the camera and cherish the memories of this special event.
