Gunnedah and District Chamber of Commerce

Driving the agenda for growth and business development in our region.

We endeavour to network, educate, expose, recognise, partner with and celebrate our local business community and Chamber of Commerce members.

The Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce is committed to making a significant contribution to the economic and social wellbeing of our business sector and wider community at large.

We believe part of the Chamber’s charter is to assist our business members in developing and expanding their businesses to create an even stronger economic footing for our town and region. A strong business community is the backbone of our economy and is essential for the long-term growth of Gunnedah and surrounds.

In partnership with fellow supporting organisations, the Chamber of Commerce has the opportunity to be a significant contributor and a real driving force in the pursuit of a vibrant and dynamic business sector.

With the support of key players in the local business landscape, we rally people with the best interests of the town at heart, those who are driven and who know how to get things done, and who are willing to give some of their time to this worthwhile pursuit.

Testimonials

"As an Accountant, my best marketing is word of mouth. Joining the local Chamber with their networking events helped me build my professional network, which in turn made me realise how welcoming the business community in Gunnedah is."

Sam Bath - SB Accounting

“I have been a member of the Chamber of Commerce in Gunnedah for the past 18 months. Prior to starting my business I wasn't sure what the Chamber did. Since joining (after being recommended and have it explained to me) I have learnt so much an really see the good that a Chamber bring to a town. Having a forum to hear from all of us and be the voice for the town is so beneficial. They hold many helpful events and it is amazing for the networking abilities and help you can get running your business. I have met so many people in both business and personal and I highly recommend”

Kurtis Doyle - Bubbles & Bones Pet Grooming

“I usually feel nervous when attending events so I avoid them. However, Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce events are always so friendly and inviting. It's really encouraging. Most recently, the dinner they hosted with Doug & Heather Hawkins was the best local event I've been to in a long time. Well done to the Chamber.”
