2022 NSW Small Business Month
As April kicks off, it means that 2022’s NSW Small Business Month comes to a close. Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce would like to thank all Chamber and local community members who came along to our events and others held within the area to celebrate all things small business.
We have such a strong business community here and it was fantastic to see so many faces, some new to business and some seasoned, turn up to learn and experience new things.
Extending our appreciation also to the NSW Government for proudly funding Gunnedah Chamber of Commerce to bring you some of these events, and to Gunnedah Shire Councilfor their collaboration with Chamber on the official launch breakfast.
Andrew Bissex joined us for the breakfast to make it an exceptional morning by sharing his experiences and knowledge in managing some very impressive businesses, CEO of Vodafone just one of the many.
Held at The Gallery Foyer within The Civic Gunnedah and catered by The Verdict Cafe, it was the perfect start to a jam packed month.
Next we had Ross Carter of AusIndustry’s Entrepreneurs Programme come to town to speak to us about establishing our ideal client, their needs and how best to target our marketing over a breakfast workshop.
Held at and catered by the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club, we enjoyed a light breakfast whilst Ross reminded us of the importance to understand WHY your client’s choose to do business with you.
Lastly but certainly not least, Kylie WalshofREGROWTH joined us last Thursday for a luncheon with a focus on Business Growth and Success. Pulling on her experience coaching and developing teams and passion for working with regional businesses, Kylie spoke to our captivated audience about delivering better services, products and cultures.
A big thank you goes to The Courthouse Gunnedah for cooking up a storm and keeping us hydrated whilst we eagerly listened to Kylie’s in-depth keynote.
For those who attended any of our events, please take a moment to submit any feedback via the NSW Small Business survey link: https://www.research.net/r/M6NPDXB
This helps us improve our events and obtain further funding to host more to come!
We’d also love to hear the types of events you’d like to see in the future and anything you feel would be beneficial to learn/hear about from us. You can tell us this via email.
With Small Business Month wrapped up, plans are well in place for our upcoming monthly networking events. Final details to come for April but we can tell you that it will be a morning event held on Pensioners Hill.
